Ever since hearing YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra) on its opening day back in his elementary school years, Takashi has been captivated by the magic of 'sound.' During his student years, he spent most of his time playing with his band and frequenting music shops. Even after graduation, he continued performing, but started other ventures such as sound creation for video games and tone creation for the synthesizer which was being developed by Yamaha Corporation.
Shortly afterwards, he had his start on the Japanese pop music scene when he met Tetsuya Komuro, and worked on various productions including playing keyboard on the TRF Japan Tour. From 1996 to 1998, he played as a member of 'D ground' (Sony Records), and then moved on to becoming a freelance composer/arranger. In 2002, he joined with DJ, Yoichiro Ito (Akakage) to form the group 'Aaron.'
Since then, he has expanded the scope of his activities to include Internet and mobile phones, and established "sin.inc." in 2003.

In 1988, he turned his longtime hobby of sound creation with the synthesizer into a vocation, and worked for 7 years as a sound operator with a company affiliated with the musician, Ryuichi Sakamoto. In 1993, he worked with the YMO Revival on pre-production through to sound operation at the Tokyo Dome live performance.
His works include albums/singles, live tours, movie soundtracks, and video game music. He is on the synthesizer development team handling tone creation and preset sound patterns at Yamaha Corporation.
